CMSA is committed to promoting the study and preservation of the California missions, presidios, pueblos, and ranchos and their Native American, Hispanic, and early American past. As a member of CMSA you will receive our award-winning journal– Boletín: The Journal of the California Mission Studies Association. You will also receive our electronic newsletter– Correo, which will keep you up to date on up-coming events, recent publications, and other items of interest. Conference Proceedings:
Published proceedings of papers given at CMSA’s annual conference for the following years: 2002, 2003 2004, 2005, 2007.
Keepsakes and Occasional Papers:
A series of short scholarly essays composed by CMSA members on a variety of topics relating to the California missions.
Las Californias Map:
An interpretive map containing the Missions, Presidios, Pueblos, and Indigenous Language Groups of Spanish and Mexican Baja and Alta California. The only map of California during this era to include California as it was actually conceptualized during these eras, as “The Californias.”
